Snowboarding in Les Deux Alpes

Serre Chevalier 7 Day Camp

7 RIDERS

£599 Coaching only

9th - 16th December 2023 - 7 Spaces - Level 1 & 2 Course

You often hear snowboarders raving about how wonderful off-piste riding can be. However, it's a baptism of fire trying to learn the vast amount of safety knowledge and riding techniques to be confident out of bounds.

We've noticed a number of riders loving off-piste, but struggling to adjust their piste riding technique for powder, and dealing with the tighter more variable off-piste terrain.

This course is custom designed for each group, but will encompass finding the best snow that allows is to introduce or improve your skills in the following areas:

Advanced riding techniques for various types of powder
How to scope and explore in-resort off-piste routes
Reading terrain for effective & flowing riding
Tactics & techniques for dealing with gulleys, traverses, drops & trees, river beds etc
Avalanche rescue training & techniques
Snow pit creation and analysis
Avalanche report review & weather analysis
Basic map reading and navigation
Board & equipment selection for safe and easy shredding
Boot packing and snow shoe techniques
Self rescue when stuck in powder

We've selected Serre Chevalier as an ideal base location due to it's variety of easy access all weather off-piste terrain. However, we can chase snow in other local resorts locations including the infamous La Grave,  Les Deux Alpes and Alpe d'Huez.

The perfect blend of fun, learning and fast paced shred. Join a small and motivated group of riders as we work on a broad range skills.

To give you ultimate flexibility we'll be providing a coaching only option. There's plenty of accommodation in the resort so you can tailor your stay. We'll then help to organise all the other aspects of your stay to make it a smooth and easy holiday.

We recommend hiring a car for this trip to allow ultimate freedom in chasing the best snow.
