James is the head coach and owner of Maverix Snow Ltd. He is part of a select group of professionals who hold the worlds highest snowboard qualifications for the UK, USA and Austria, which encompasses two diplomas in Snowsports. In addition he holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies.

After a successful career in Marketing and Public Relations working for such brands as Aston Martin and Hewlett-Packard he changed gears and focused on applying his talents to more personally fulfilling, creative and adventurous pursuits. This ultimately resulted in the establishment of Maverix in 2008, the UK’s first year round snowboard coaching company.
