14th - 21st March - 7 Spaces - Level 1&2 Course

The aim of the week is to provide an awesome holiday that will deliver a great mix of riding experiences. The overall focus is to search out the most easily accessible fresh powder and look beyond just ticking off every slope on the piste map.

If the snow gods don't deliver then we switch gears to work more on core riding, freestyle and avalanche safety skills. All riders can get from A to B, but to confidently handle everything the mountain has to offer, we may look to highlight some simple areas of improvement. We might do a small freestyle build off piste, test our avalanche rescue skills, or get into the kids timed slalom course for a competitive challenge. The nine resorts covered with your lift pass will provide a massive variety of fun shredding opportunities.

In addition, your guide will be on hand to help with off snow advice as well as booking the best local restaurants for an evening of relaxed local food. Your hotel also has it's own bar as well as a private drying, storage, tuning zone and underground parking, so everything you need is on hand.

To enable to crew to easily access additional freeride areas all participants should have their own or hired for the start of the course some suitable avalanche equipment and a pair of snow shoes. We can advise and help with this process as we do hold limited hire options for avalanche equipment and snow shoes.

We have provided detailed rider ability guidelines for this camp, so you can more easily deduce if this holiday is right for you.

This course includes:
7 Nights shared B&B accommodation
5 Days resort advice/logistics, guiding & coaching

Apartments are typically shared between two people with the option of twin or double arrangements, however, we do try to arrange a single room, depending on how busy the hotel is. If you would like to guarantee a single room, we suggest booking your own accommodation within Mayrhofen or Hollenzen (just outside Mayrhofen). If you're allocated a single room a small additional charge of £100 will be added to your course fees.

If you have any questions about this holiday, please review our travel guide, explanation of the camp levels, kit list's or FAQ's and then feel free to drop us a line.

What the riders think...

"I rate the winter camp super highly. It's taken me from dipping my toe into off piste to being confident in it across different conditions. Mayrhofen is a great location as well with lots of different mountains to explore with hidden powder stashes. Having a top tier guide helps find those stashes and connect them together - whilst you are getting your skills up. The hotel is fab and meals out after an awesome day in the mountains are great too."

"Hands down the best snowboarding trips are with Maverix! I have been going on their trips in Austria since 2017 and always have the most amazing adventures. We had a first class guide, who knew all of the best spots for fresh powder on the mountains and also all of the best local food. We want for nothing. The only downside to the trip is when it's over. But that's when you can book the next one and count down the days until you're shredding again."

"We spent a good amount of time out of sight of groomed runs but within the resort boundaries, hitting the untracked pow fields that Mayrhofen has to offer. I felt my off-piste confidence grow exponentially."

Please make sure you read and understand the riding levels required for this holiday, as those riders who do not meet the required standards may be unable to complete their holiday and will not be offered a refund. Our Austrian adventures are not recommended for under 18's.
