An awesome camp for those looking for a taste of everything. The bias as with other Austrian camps is still towards finding the best and freshest powder. Yet if mother nature doesn't play ball then we'll be mixing up the fun on the piste or the rookie park.
The focus is about shaping you into a snowboard All Terrain Vehicle. There are so many streams of snowboarding that contribute towards being able to enjoy every part of the mountain in every condition and we'll be dipping our edges into all of them.
Expect to be riding in a variety of local resorts from our base in Mayrhofen as we search for the best snow and least busy pistes in the pursuit of fun times.
The overall vibe of the camp is progression. It's about working as a team to build each others confidence and skills as we look to iron out the weaknesses lay down some new moves that'll help you become a more rounded and stronger snowboarder.
To enable to crew to easily access additional freeride areas all participants should have their own or hired for the start of the course some suitable avalanche equipment, a pair of snow shoes or more ideally a splitboard. We can advise and help with this process as we do hold limited hire options for avalanche equipment and snow shoes.
We have provided detailed rider ability guidelines for this course, so you can more easily deduce if this camp is right for you.
This course includes:
7 Nights shared B&B accommodation in The Larcherhof
5 Days guiding
Apartments are typically shared between two people with the option of twin or double arrangements, however, we do try to arrange a single room, depending on how busy the hotel is. If you would like to guarantee a single room, we suggest booking your own accommodation within Mayrhofen or Hollenzen (just outside Mayrhofen). If you're allocated a single room a small additional charge of £100 will be added to your course fees.
If you have any questions about this course, please review our travel guide, explanation of the course levels, kit list's or FAQ's and then feel free to drop us a line.
Please make sure you read and understand the riding levels required for this course, as those riders who do not meet the required standards may be unable to complete their course and will not be offered a refund. Our Austrian adventures are not recommended for under 18's.
