MORE THAN JUST A SNOWBOARD LESSON
Private coaching gives us the time to properly look at your riding and work on the things that will make the biggest difference.
Every rider is different. You might be struggling with a particular movement, trying to unlock a new trick, wanting to improve your technique or simply wondering why something doesn't feel quite right.
Rather than working through a standard lesson plan, we'll build the session around your riding, your goals and what happens when you actually get on the board. The aim isn't just to show you what to do, but to help you understand what's happening, make the right changes and give you something useful to take away, refine and build upon.

The obvious goal isn't always the thing we need to refine.
A rider might want to improve their switch, ride a box with more confidence or learn a new spin on the piste. But sometimes the key to making that happen is improving something else entirely — flex, balance, timing, pressure or board tilt.
Rather than simply drilling the movement that's missing, we'll often hide the core improvement behind a series of fun, practical challenges. These switch the brain off, helping riders develop better board skills in a more natural and instinctive way.
The technical stuff is still there. It's just disguised.
The result is a more natural way to develop skills, where riders are experimenting, solving problems and having fun rather than simply being told to repeat the same movement until they get it right.
Good coaching isn't just about being told what to do. We'll explain what we're looking for, demonstrate the movement in your natural stance, whether you're goofy or regular, then give you the chance to practise it and work it into your riding.
From there, small, focused pieces of feedback help refine the drill or skill. It's not about bombarding riders with a dozen adjustments at once. One tiny tweak can often be enough to create a noticeable change.
The important part is that the session moves with the rider. Demonstrating, inspiring and watching how things develop from multiple angles allows the coach to fine-tune exactly what needs to improve. The right terrain becomes part of the coaching too — showing what's possible, choosing a feature or section of slope that suits the rider, and supporting them as they work towards the movement.
It's a process of trying, adjusting and trying again, with the coaching adapting as the riding develops.
Private coaching can be built around almost any aspect of your riding. It might be about improving the fundamentals that make everything else easier, unlocking a particular trick or simply becoming more comfortable on your board.
Piste performance, flatland and groundtricks, kickers, rails, boxes and moguls are just a few examples of what can be refined during a private coaching session.
Your goal can be very specific, or you might simply feel that something isn't quite right on your board. We'll review your movement patterns and build a solid set of fun, practical drills to help iron out weaknesses or move you towards your specific goal.
Either way, the coaching adapts as the session develops, with bespoke, small adjustments run to run helping to tackle specific tasks, build confidence and unlock that next level of progression.
